Standard 'for sale' Adverts are free on petsguide.com.au. This includes adverts for Dog and Puppies, Cats and Kittens, Fish and Aquaria, Birds and Aviary, Small Animals, Reptiles and other. If you run a pets business, a dealer advert is also FREE

What Type of Adverts are there on Petsguide??

There are two types of adverts, a standard and standard plus. A standard advert is FREE and entitles you to submit 3 photos and a brief and full description of your item. If your pet is extra special or you want to show it off then a Standard PLUS advert could be for you. A Standard PLUS advert will entitle you to 3 photos on the search results and 7 for your pet for sale advert. Your advert will also stand out with yellow highlighting and rank ahead of Standard Adverts in pets for sale search results.

How Do I create an advert on Petsguide??

To create an advert you firstly have to be registered with Petsguide (click 'register now') to register. Once registered you will receive an email confirmation. Then logon using your login and password and click 'place advert' to place your advert. Including a photo will with your advert will increase the likelihood of selling your pet.

My Account Details (eg., address, email) have changed, how do I update them??

Simply login into Petsguide then click on the ‘Edit Details’ button. Make sure you click 'submit' once you have made the change.

What payment methods do you have??

We accept Mastercard and Visa credit cards through Paypal's online transaction processing and also accept cheque or money order should you not have a credit card.

The type of pet I want to list is not available on Petsguide, what should I do??

Please email us via the feedback from if you believe a category should be included and we will endeavour to accommodate it.

How long can I post my FREE advert for??

Your for sale advert will remain online until sold. Dealer/Business listings remain online for 12 months.

How do I submit to the FREE Breeders/Clubs directory??

It’s simple. Click the ‘register now’ button and select ‘breeders account’. Enter your breeding/club details,upload your logo (if applicable) then click ‘submit’. Your listing will now be added to the on-line directory. Please allow up to 24 hours for your listing to be approved.

How do I mark my advert as sold or remove it??

To mark your advert as sold, log in, and click 'edit adverts' Your list of current adverts will then be displayed. Select the advert you would like to edit by clicking 'edit' You will then go to a new screen. Select 'update status' and then select 'mark as sold'.
